Beijing Pudi Hotel

Very low-end hotel geared toward budget travelers. The atmosphere felt crowded and noisy, with many guests showing little regard for basic etiquette. Fine if you’re looking for a cheap stay, but not recommended for those seeking a comfortable or upscale experience.

The hotel is located at a very convenient spot, walking distance to subway station, and many restaurant options. The staffs at the front desk were friendly. Although overall it was clean, the carpets showed signs of aging, and house keeping was sloppy. They didn’t vacuum the carpet for the first two days and only did so after I told the front desk. Shower cap and other toiletries were not replenished promptly, the bedding was not done properly. One of the towel had a big black spot on it. I left it it out to be cleaned, but the house keeping fold it and put it back on the shelf!

A little shabby, but good sized rooms. Air on was terrible, room constantly at 29*C with AC set at 16* Pool too cold to swim for us and jacuzzi was bubbleless. Gym well equipped. Good shops and food outlets within the building. Avoid the Peking duck place though! Staff helpful and pleasant and some nice decor touches. A good base to explore from. Theres a great cafe tucked up a side street that is great quality and really cheap!

Good location close to the railway and subway also restaurants and a supermarket a 10 minute walk away. Older hotel but well maintained large room with all the necessary amenities and room cleaning to a good standard.Reception staff helpful and pleasant. Two areas of criticism the air conditioning could have been better and they gave us a fan unit to cool the room the biggest problem was the WIFI it was showing a signal on my phone but limited access and nothing could be done online.

Everything about our stay was really good, other than the breakfast. We arrived down at 7am most mornings and the food options where limited and cold. 2 coffee machines for an incredibly large amount of guests. We've stayed at a number for 4-5* hotels in China which were significantly better.

The location of the property is great. However, the food, service and condition of the property leave a lot to be desired. The extra facilities like the gym were great but not frequently used which explains why it was in good condition. The staff look exhausted and in turn their service suffers as a result of this. We couldn’t use the WiFi and couldn’t get it to work no matter what we tried. We requested pillows multiple times to be given pillows that were literally filled with beans like a bean bag. See pictures attached. Our tour guide mentioned the property used to be a famous hotel but was bought over by new owners. It’s clear to see the new owners have put little money into the upkeep of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was poor and its not something I would pay extra for. On the first night we had dinner which took 1.5 hours to bring out 5 dishes as there was only one chef working who cooked the dishes one at time. I will not be coming back.

Breakfast was always good. The pool and the gym are both good addition to staying in this hotel. I would stay again

Everything are good the building kind of old but nice and clean very convenient location and reasonable prices Definitely will consider stay again
