AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe/Downtown

The hotel was centralized in an area where there are a lot of restaurants and stores. The room was clean and quiet. The pool was very enjoyable with a lot of areas to sit. The only thing I did not like was parking. My husband is disabled and parking in the structure next-door was too much walking for him. We also had issues using the elevator because it would work occasionally and he had to walk the stairs from the second floor. Other than that, it was great.

Air conditioning was not working properly, room was humid all night and very hard to sleep in. Also had a water leak in the room which had maintenance crew knocking on our door early morning

Was not awhere the parking was in a separate building, not attached. And that is $20 bucks a night for that.

We enjoyed our stay

was disappointed with my recent stay at the AC Hotel Phoenix Tempe/Downtown. While I expected a clean, comfortable room from a Marriott property, our experience fell well below those expectations. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. Despite setting the thermostat to 72°F, the room remained warm throughout the entire night, making it difficult for us to sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, my girlfriend discovered stains on the bed, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room. Finding stained bedding is unacceptable at any hotel, especially one carrying the Marriott name. Overall, the combination of the uncomfortable room temperature and the condition of the bedding made our stay frustrating and disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously by ensuring guest rooms are thoroughly inspected, properly cleaned, and that maintenance issues like malfunctioning air conditioning are resolved before guests check in. I chose Marriott because I expected a higher standard of quality and service, but unfortunately this stay did not meet those expectations.

$20 per night parking is in a separate building and super inconvenient, particularly in the summer heat. Staff is stuffy, making their concern about your stay feel disingenuous.

Always clean with helpful staff and a great location.

I meet a very friendly bartender here, experienced called Grant, he was communicative and welcoming, you don't find bartenders like him anymore
