Britannia Airport Inn Manchester

Very helpful 🙂 a good experience but no breakfast 🤔🤔

Britannia usually gets a bad rap and I’ve stayed in an awful one before at Manchester airport, but this is by the far the nicest Britannia and also nicer than other hotels - and our room was super cheap! We had a twin room, beds were very comfy, bathroom basic but clean, ironing board, hairdryer and fan. Food and drinks were good - gluten free choices too which was great - plenty of seating in the sunshine. Return airport shuttle is £14

We couldn’t get mushrooms despite getting them twice before without a meal . The beds weren’t comfortable and the pillows were so thin we had to ask for more. We was put near a closing door that was constant. We didn’t have ice and the rooms were roasting despite windows open and the only water available in the rooms tasted of chlorine. Loved it to begin with but yeah probably wouldn’t spend the night but would use the leisure centre more.

Excellent breakfast. Room, bedside lamp nearest door needs fixing. The mount is broken. No real problem, just that the lamp is not able to be directed away from the face of the other person in bed. Take this in good spirit. Ian.

Walls are so thin could literally hear every single word of a conversation in the next room. Beds were comfy and staff genuinely great but wouldn't go back as didn't get a wink of sleep, could hear absolutely everything from other room and from the corridor.

No bottle of water no telephone

We stayed for one night before flying from Manchester Airport. I would have rated the hotel much higher, but unfortunately there was a very inconsiderate group on our floor partying in their room until 2am, so none of us managed to get much sleep. Aside from that, everything else was as expected for the price. The shuttle bus service was excellent, taking us directly to and from the airport. Being able to leave our car in the hotel car park while we were away was also a great added bonus.

I was a little nervous booking the hotel seeing the online rating wasn’t that good. However if you’re looking for overnight accommodation that doesn’t cost the earth then here’s your best option. On arrival the reception was a bit slow but I guess it was because others happen to arrive at the same time. Room was okay but a bit dated and worn to today’s standards/ expectations, but it was enough for our needs. Clean and comfortable. Kettle, mugs, tea and coffee, milk & sugar provided. Large samsung tv. No car charging facilities on site with the nearest one about a mile away in a BP service station. Close to Manchester airport. The parking situation wasn’t good as we arrived between 8-9pm, and the car park was completely full. We were directed to other car parks at the rear of the property which were also full. Eventually found one free space which wasn’t great for our new vehicle (we’re fussy!). It seemed that the parked cars were taking priority to the hotel guests, and there were far too many long stay cars there which led to a shortage of available spaces for hotel guests. This put us off staying at the hotel in future sorry.

Was alright for 1 night. There were alot of small flys in my room.coming from behind the mirror in the room.
