Our stay was perfect! Very clean, great communication with staff, and very accommodating if you need to store your luggage before check in. Samantha was amazing and very helpful. 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely stay for one night in the double room with double sofa bed. It was very clean and well maintained. A comfortable nights sleep and great location.

The location was great, we took the Alilaguna to Guglie and the walk to the hotel, even with bags, was a breeze. The buzzer at the door isn’t super clear that it’s for Antigo Portego but we buzzed the top button and we got connected and allowed in without issue. Samantha was communicative and met us in the entry then directed us to our room. There are not a ton of extras at this hotel but we were out and about all day so the room just needed to be clean, comfortable, and quiet — which it absolutely was. Would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Felt like everywhere in Venice was very close and walkable and I would say it took us about 15/20 min to get to the Rialto Bridge and Market and maybe another 10 minutes to get to the Basilica area from the hotel so things felt close but we weren’t in the thick of it when we wanted to come home.

Samantha was super helpful, and spoke excellent English. The only thing that was a little odd, was that I had to make a payment in advance, outside of the Hotels.com website, even though I had picked a pay later booking

We had a wonderful stay at Antico Portego! The property was in a central location with plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby. Staff were lovely and check in was easy.

Very pleasant spaces, quiet, and roomy. Only downside was that there is no regularly-staffed reception desk, and communication in advance was neither prompt nor specific about exactly how to check in or whether and how we could drop off luggage before checkin. I recommend getting clear answers to such questions a few days in advance. After we solved those problems, though, the stay was very nice.
