Beautifully and thoughtfully finished property blending old and new. Stunning room (Stone) with a very comfortable bed all the amenities you would need and a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was also top tier with local produce featuring in the menu. The hot tub was also a lovely touch after a day of walking. Highly recommend this place for a luxurious break to explore the Western lakes.

Beautiful, spotless room. Amazing location. Faith and team did everything to make our stay very special. The breakfast particularly is excellent. We will return as soon as we can!

The property gave a sense of quality and luxury and in the main looked like it had only been decorated yesterday. Clearly well maintained.

Breakfast was amazing- hot tub was lovely and would be amazing views (went in November so dark) Faith was so lovely and professional- room was amazing and views were amazing! Loved the honesty bar and the little town nearby

Absolutely fantastic, what a wonderful place to stay. Large bed, luxurious bedding, lovely bathroom with walk in shower. The whole place is to an extremely high standard of architectural thought and build, amazing.

A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. The freshly made cakes each day were such a treat and tasted beautiful. Only 10 mins drive from the beach, and some lovely restaurants like The Wild Olive. Can’t think of any faults!

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel. Would highly recommend. The attention to detail was outstanding. The bed was very comfy and the free cake was delicious.
