Quality Inn & Suites near St. Louis and I-255

First off, the surrounding businesses are mostly abandoned businesses. One nice thing is there is a grocery store right in front of the hotel. And about 3 restaurants , even some houses were boarded up. Then my room: My comforter had a big stain on it . Very noticeable which they turned face down. The floors were hard wood so you would think they would be easy to mop! My floor looked like I hasn't been mopped in weeks. My kids came back from the pool (which is literally a 3×5 pool very small and no hot tube! And as they walked into the room , they got the floor wet. So I whipped it up with a pool towel and I should've took a picture! The towel was black! And last, they took my $100 security deposit, I'm a person who literally cleans up before I leave, I organize the bed sheets, tare them off the bed and put the towels in a corner. As I used to be a housekeeper. Last, I was never given a receipt at check out. And when I tried to call and confront the matter, I was told to call back after 6pm.

Overall enjoyed the stay. The breakfast is decent, and the workers were very kind. The only thing I would say was a downfall were the floors in our room. They were semi sticky and just needed to be mopped. Again nothing bad, and could've easily just been our room.

The staff were amazing! But that’s where it stops. The rooms were very wore in and there was blood or something on the mattress protector on one of the beds. It all felt grime and dirty. The towels were very clean. We had an issue with the housekeeping attendant just opening the door, it was checkout day, but it was so early in the morning, breakfast was still being served. We won’t stay here again.

Decent place to stay. I appreciate the breakfast option. Staff very friendly.

We booked this hotel as out of town guests visiting St. Louis. Had no idea where we were staying. #1 it's in the ghetto. Bad roads literally and physically. #2 smells like pot. People was smoking pot and cigarettes just outside the front door. #3 We were charged a $100 incidental fee which still has not come off our account and we called the hotel and they sent us a receipt with no charge. There was no one at the check out as he was hustling breakfast and cleaning the lobby as well. My husband called and is now disputing with our bank. Be sure to check out and get a receipt! We could not. We were told "just leave keys". Just leave keys must be keep my incidental money. #4 breakfast was subpar. I used to work at a Quality Inn so I was expecting more than what was offered. My husband ate early and my son and I ate later in the morning. There was hardly anything. Sausage that you had to heat up and eggs. Waffle maker, that I was told didn't work the day before. . A bunch of white bread, 3 cereals,juice and milk. Bananas I had 1/2 a banana and half half of the waffle. I couldn't stomach anything else. I had to dig in a cabinet to find a fork. They were just laying in the drawer no wrappers. The room was standard for Quality Inn but the rest was subpar.

Itci on reception gave a warm welcome. Breakfast was very poor. Powdered eggs. Second morning no eggs because left in freezer. Very poor breakfast offerings. No breakfast staff only receptionist to provide anything. Obviously rubbish bins not emptied as full throughout our stay. Poor impression all round.

The free breakfast was gone an hour before service was over. Disappointed because that was one reason we stayed there.

The rooms we’re half cleaned the beds we’re dirty i noticed after turning the sheets Down to go to sleep there was dirt and debris the pool water was salty don’t ask and breakfast was cold no tongs to pick up food it wasn’t flavorful the batter for waffles was sour tasting no milk that I seen I did like the receptionist she was respectful and polite but it wasn’t worth the money we had to pay I will not take my family back there again I do not recommend it at all .

We found the rooms to be very clean & the staff was fantastic. This hotel is located in a "struggling" area & a bit outdated
