We (my 17-year-old daughter and I) stayed at the Hôtel Maxim Opéra in early June 2026 and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent — tucked on a quiet side street just steps from the Opéra Garnier and Galeries Lafayette, with easy access to Metro lines. It felt surprisingly peaceful for such a central spot, which made it a great base for exploring the city. The room was quite small (as is common in Paris hotels), but it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for the two of us. The bed was good and we slept well thanks to the quiet surroundings. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference. The only downside was the high price — it felt a bit steep for the compact room size. That said, the quiet location and excellent service made it worthwhile for our needs. We would recommend the Hôtel Maxim Opéra to travelers who prioritize a calm, well-located hotel in the heart of Paris.

Wonderful stay. Front desk staff was very helpful. Rooms were small but were perfect for 2 friends traveling through Oarus for a few days. Bathroom was A+. Highly recommended.

A wonderful hotel in a brilliant location. The staff were really friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We were very near the metro and some great bars and restaurants. The beds were really comfortable and the toiletries in the bathroom smelt wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel!
