This was a basic 'room only' guest house with no staff in attendance. I didn't book using my mobile phone but on my computer by email. I received my confirmation email. I didn't realise that a follow-up email would contain two codes - one to enter the premises and another to open my room. There was no mention of this on the confirmation email - I expected someone to be there for check-in. I had to phone the owners - no answer - but they did get back to me (quite quickly) with a text message on my mobile with these codes - but that was an anxious wait. Other guests told me that when they booked by phone they received an instant message with these codes. The room was large with two comfortable arm chairs. It was very clean and the bed was supportive. Parking was limited in a narrow street.

The good, the property location and condition were nice enough. Clean comfortable rooms. The bad, access to the common area where there is a fridge that guests can use for personal breakfast food is not available until 9am unless on asks for the room code in advance. Just leave the room open to guests. The terrible, there is no staff on site, just that "there is no front desk at this property." The booking site does NOT make mention of this fact if one checking in during the normal times starting at 3:30pm. There is a reference to virtual checkin for late arrivals. This needs to be absolutely clear in the adverts which it is not. We arrived not realizing we should have been sent a followup email regarding codes to the guest house and room. We had no access to email upon arriving and learned this via in the instructions on the front door. Not a good initial impression. Fortunately, other guests arrived at the same time who assisted us in contacting the owners who did respond but was rather curt and unapologetic about their poor communication.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a new experience for us and gaining access to our room was a little confusing at first, but the owners were very quick to respond to our questions. The location was within walking distance to everything. Checking out was very simple. Overall a good stay.

This place was super cute and charming! The room was a family room and it was a good size. Super convenient location, everything was walkable from train station, dining and shopping. There was a secure storage area where we were able to store our luggage while we went on a 2 day bus tour. Very clean. No staff on property, but they were very responsive to any questions we had.

Lovely location, only a few minutes to the centre of town. Parking was a bit of an issue as the hotel was full, but all sorted in the end. Would recommend if wanting to have a few days not driving. Lots to do.

The front door slams heavily each time some one enters or leaves. It is only a few feet through a paper thin wall from the front suite. It was constant noise all night long. There is no staff there at all only a foreign phone number. The 'manager' was very hard to reach and rude. Don't stay here
