In the kitchen section, please include a microwave for quick warm-up food for children, and in the breakfast section, a pancake or waffle can be added. Pancakes and waffles are not hard to make.

Location is amazing, 4 minutes to Blue Mosque and close to trams. Breakfast was great, new variety every day and a great patio with views of the water. Ladies who cleaned and managed breakfast were very nice and helpful. Do not use the for airport pick up or drop off. We had to call for pickup and the wait until it was worked out because hotel did not set it up even though I confirmed. Pickup never happened and we had to flag a taxi. Since we pad cash, we were out the money. The gentleman at reception just didn’t seem to do his job. Hotel is quaint and clean but could use some minor basic maintenances in rooms. However it was a favorite stay on our trip.

Everything was lively: really friendly staff, nice room and delicious breakfast on a beautiful terrace with a view of the sea. Whenever I went up to the terrace I was given tea and home made biscuits without even asking.

This is a nice hotel close to historical places, a little bit hidden but there is no problem getting there. The room was confortable and clean. The staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast is at the terrace, with plenty of Turkish dishes, really recommended.

Great location. Older place so be aware but we found. Just behind the Blue Mosque so be prepared for a rousing call to morning prayer.

Great Potential, Poor Execution Centrally located near Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks, Hotel Dilhayat Kalfa has potential that it unfortunately fails to meet. My experience was marred by inconsistent communication and maintenance issues. Communication & Arrival I requested an airport pick-up the night before, but received no response until hours later. Clearer communication—even a "no"—would have been appreciated. Upon arrival, I was checked in by a staff member who spoke no English. While the owner was helpful once he arrived, the front desk is not staffed 24/7, which is worth noting for late-night needs. Room Quality (Room # 16) The room had several functional flaws. The "fix" for a deafeningly noisy bathroom fan was simply to disable it entirely. I was left with six bottles of shampoo but no bar of soap, and the showerhead would not stay upright. Additionally, laundry facilities are not on-site as advertised, but located a short walk away. Breakfast & Departure The rooftop terrace offers a lovely view of the Bosphorus, and the breakfast (8:30–10:00 AM) varies slightly daily. However, when I requested a "to-go" breakfast for an early 7:00 AM checkout, the owner's "maybe" resulted in nothing being ready—not even a simit or a boiled egg. To top it off, the taxi arranged by the hotel arrived early and started the meter before I even stepped outside. Verdict: A great location and nice view don't quite make up for the lack of professional service and basic room maintenance

Enjoyed my stay very much. The rooms were clean and the saff friendly and helpful. Location was also absolutely fabulous.
