Parkville Place Serviced Apartments

Quiet room - had everything I needed. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful

The bathroom drawers had hair clippings. The floors had thickn dust in the corners. Everything else was great

The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, stove-top, microwave and kettle for teamaking. There were ample clean pots and pans for cooking as well as clean quality cutlery and crockery. The bed was fantastic and linen so white and clean. Slept like a log. The building itself is an older style but has been renovated to allow a very satisfactory stay. Staff were efficient, kind and helpful. Well worth the cost.

The gentleman at reception was wonderful, friendly and polite. The room was average. Dirty plates in the cupboard. Flickering spot light. Shower needs attention as mould growing in the silicone.

Great value for money, it's a little shabby sure but we are backpackers and it had everything we needed, wifi, comfy bed, hot shower, tv, we could make meals in our (big) kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and let us check in early. Plus it's in a great location.

We drove from WA to Melbourne for 8 days and we've stayed at several hotel and accommodations. Parkville was the last accommodation we stayed in before we found a permanent place to stay here in Melbourne. Parkville was the most affordable one and the closest to my husband's workplace. I must say this has become home to me for 7days. I have read some not good reviews but we still chose to stay there because it is good value for money and I never regret it. This has become my favourite place. The room, Yes it is clean and we have all that we need. Complete with stove and cookware. The room, the sheets and pillows are clean and smell clean. And the most important, the staff is very very friendly and nice! If you ring them, they answer straight away. They give you all that you need. I love them all. They are very nice people. There is nothing to complain about. It is not a five-star hote but a serviced apartment so do not expect a five-star hotel facility but it is a nice place to stay away from home close to CBD, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Has coin-operated laundry, has flatiron and toiletries. They offer cleaning daily on weekdays but you would not need cleaning daily.The two guys at the reception, they are very nice and helpful. They do reception work and they are the ones doing the cleaning too so be patient when you arrive and they are not at the reception but with just one ring, they will answer and come. And a big bonus is free parking! THE BEST FOR US!

The room was terrible, it smelt like smoke, the shower had a big step & my 81 mother & myself both slipped getting out of the shower. The curtains were filthy, hinge pin on bathroom door nearly fallen out which means the door would come off. The sliding door to balcony kept coming off track. The carpet had a big bump in it in the entrance to the room (yes I tripped).

Not overly flash, you get what you pay for, but the room was clean and stsff were friendly. Its in a convenient location

The staff were welcoming and generally just lovely
