Excellent rapport qualité - prix pour ce petit hôtel avec salles de bain partagées. Très propre. A quelques minutes de la gare de Ikebukuro et de la zone commerciale (idéale pour le shopping standard, pas besoin d’aller à Shinjuku!). Bon à savoir : les murs sont très fins, alors munissez vous de bouchons d’oreilles, car même si les gens font attention il y a quand même du bruit quand il y a du monde ou lors du ménage le matin.
En extra: essayez le bain public Yuyuland a 10 min à pied!

හොඳයි This is fine as an inexpensive option. The staff is helpful and kind, but the walls are paper thin and you will hear conversations in adjacent rooms with such clarity, you may end up feeling bonded with your neighbors. You will be brushing your teeth with them and sharing the communal showers and toilets, so if you like togetherness, this is your place. If, however, you like a mattress more than an inch and a half thick, you may want to consider other options. While sleeping on the floor has its charms, it’s not for everyone.

My go to everytime I go japan. I like visiting ikebukuro! The amount of space is fantastic, better than hotels which charge more.

We stayed in the Japanese Annex room for 3 nights. The room was clean no doubt but it was rather musky so we had to open the windows to air it. The fact that it was next to the outdoor laundry area, even with closed windows, you could hear people chatting while doing their laundry. Amenities were basic as this is afterall a hostel. The saving grace is the superb location which is close to the train station, restaurants and shopping district.

On a quiet street, a laundromat is very close and it is cheap. Close to the Ikebukuro metro station. The room itself is a bit too small for 3 people (3 mattresses) but it's OK.

Staff was kind, hostel and room was very clean. Area was quiet and very close to several convenience stores, food, and Ikebukuro station.
