It was a great hotel with the biggest onsen in Kumamoto. Compared to the price, the service was great.

නියමයි We stayed in a corner room and got included dinner. The hotel is a bit of a mix between a Japanese western style with beds, and ryokan style. The hotel is for folks who want to use the onsen and eat nice dinners. It's not worth it otherwise.
The room quality was ok. It was Japanese western style with a tatami area. The bathroom is a unit bath style which isn't good. Generally you wouldn't use it to take showers as you would use the onsen shower areas.
We got a large corner room and included dinner which was excellent. I recommend getting a medium size room and get the plan with dinner included.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We chose the Japanese-western room which was spacious relaxing and offered the best of both. The delicious breakfast buffet and Japanese dinner were a treat.
