Meals in restaurant are amazing, great value. Staff were great in dealing with an issue. Excellent location off street parking, good value

Convenient location and cheap…but a bit sketchy late at night with drunk people milling around car park. Went for a cigarette in car park and was approached by a scary drunk guy wanting my cigarettes.

Just as we arrived to check in to the Formby, they had a power outage. The hotel was very busy, and the poor staff had to contend with the restaurant and bars having to shut . The staff were excellent and so apologetic. We then had to find a meal elsewhere, but it was just a short walk to various options. When we arrived back in our room , the staff had set up a torch. Under very difficult circumstances the staff were amazing. Would have absolutely loved to havehad a meal and a beer in this lovely pub.
