Royal Select at Grand Park Royal Cancun-All Inclusive-Adults Only

Overall, we had a decent stay, but for the price point, I expected a bit more transparency and a more elevated experience. The pros: the resort itself was very clean, the property was beautiful overall, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, there were a few disappointments. While the resort advertises itself as adults only, it really is not. There is only one lounge and one pool area that do not allow children, so if you are looking for a true adults only atmosphere with separation and relaxation, this may not be the best fit. The food was okay at best. In addition, two restaurants were closed during our stay, along with the swim-up bar at the adult pool. We were never notified of these closures ahead of time and only found out after asking staff ourselves. We also booked a beachfront view room, but unfortunately ended up in a first-floor corner unit with mostly a view of bushes. To make matters worse, the room shared a wall with the pool speaker, which made it difficult to relax whenever music was playing. The biggest downside, and the main reason this review loses a star, was the aggressive vacation package sales tactics. Even after politely declining multiple times, staff continued pushing us to attend a presentation and even tracked us down at the pool to ask again. It became uncomfortable enough that we avoided the main building for most of our trip just to avoid being approached.

The room was beautiful and clean! The ocean view was fantastic. It was a little disappointing that it was not disclosed that 2 of the restaurants are close to renovations.

Had the most amazing time here in April 2026, stayed in the Royal Tower and I 100% recommend. The staff were amazing ( Shout out to our bottler Alejandro!). The food was great, beach was beautiful and the room was perfect!

We loved our stay at the Grand Park Royal. The resort is beautiful, fantastic beach and the staff is so friendly and helpful. A couple of the restaurants are closed now for remodel, but that did not take away from our stay. We loved it and will be back!

Absolutely loved the room & our beach view! The steakhouse was also amazing (you do have to pay for this restaurant). It was a little frustrating that so many restaurants were closed & that construction was being done making it nosey at times. The buffet food was terrible for dinner but okay for breakfast. Our concierge went above & beyond, Lidia was incredible! Despite the inconveniences, we did have a really special time. Not sure if I’d come back though.

Best beach view with room 2308. Very clean and staff was excellent. Only let down was food. Restaurants were closed.
