We had booked Hotel Fukudaya for 2 segments of our Tokyo trip, with a 9-day gap in between. We were hoping to leave some of our luggage with the hotel in the interim.
Although the hotel’s policy is to store guests’ belongings for a maximum of 7 days, the boss and staff very kindly made an exception & extended the timeline slightly for our convenience - for which I’m very grateful for!
Beyond that, the property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Staff are friendly and courteous. This was my second stay at Hotel Fukudaya, and I found myself returning because of the excellent first impression it left on me the first time around :-)

The rooms were a good temperature despite the chill outside. Not too hot or cold. The rooms were very clean, and the staff friendly.

Great hotel for a stay in Tokyo - basic but has everything you need. Staff were helpful and the hotel was very clean. The area is quiet and has all the amenities you need, with bustling Shibuya just a 15 minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend to those visiting Tokyo!

නියමයි This is a wonderful, family run, small hotel nestled in a sea of tranquillity right in the heart of Shibuya, 15 minutes from the Scramble Crossing. It recently went through some renovations, and the rooms are just beautiful. I had a traditional tatami matt room. I last stayed here in 2018 and had such a good experience, I booked again on this trip. Added bonus, the newly renovated private bath on the main floor. Highly recommended.

The staff are always so kind and welcoming. It is a really convenient hotel to stay near Shibuya or Nakameguro. I always stay here when I arrive in Tokyo and recommend it to all of my friends!

This was such a great first experience in Tokyo. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel felt more traditional then other stay in the area. Highly recommend.
