This is a small hotel with friendly environment. However, it is a remote area and no shops and much restaurants nearby. There is one the hotel recommended but quite expensive. Take your meal before going to hotel

An older onsen property. But it does have two onsen pools that you can “charter” for your private use. There isn’t anything around the property, so you have to book your breaky and dinner with the hotel. The food was good though.

නියමයි Charming hotel with outdoor onsen which was welcome reward after intense days on the slopes. Staff are kind and friendly albeit English not super fluent - you can get by with translation apps. We booked dinner for 2 days and both days were really good value - at least 5 courses and very beautifully presented even. Easy to arrange for pick up to/from the ski resort and also the train station

Good breakfast and of course friendly staff. Typical dated resort hotel but discovered too much uncleaned when searching for an available power outlet - none found so had to unplug some items to get power.
