Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park

We really loved this hotel..feom the people at front to the fantastic view was amazing, you even get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for 30.00 dollars it was so convenient. The breakfast was 👏 Room tiny, but its New York style. Still the view made you not want to leave..which my husband and I made a small meal and just stared out. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Residence Inn.

Very clean and staff was friendly. The elevator needed AC. The breakfast was decent. Location was perfect also.

Check in was seamless & simple. The room was a corner room with massive windows so we had a very nice 180º view from the 41st floor. The room was very clean and had a mini kitchen, which we found quite useful. The shower was nice - roomy enough for 2 and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, albeit a quite rude man that worked there each morning (5) that we were there. He would get snappy (once with us) with others if they dared walk in to grab food 20 minutes before it was closing. To me, 09:30 closing is 09:30 - NOT 09:10. Anyhow, he kept telling us and others "Don't come so late! You can't eat this late!" The room was comfortable each night. We had everything we needed. One afternoon however, my husband and I were spending some time in the room and an employee tried to enter. My husband told her that we were busy and stated that we did not ask for anything. She kept insisting that a door needed to be fixed. After she tried to enter a second time, my husband put both locks on the door and told her to leave. We found this to be quite odd and did inform the front desk later that day but nothing was done as far as we know. Anyhow, other than the restaurant guy and the insistent person trying to enter our room, our stay was good. We would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect for us - 2 minute walk to the subway and just a short walk from Central Park and also Times Square.

Fantastic view from the room, a very good breakfast, exceptionally friendly and always helpful staff, spotless cleanliness, and an unbeatable location. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back.

Stayed for a week. We don’t like having cleaning staff in our rooms everyday and they were constantly knocking on the door to come in and clean even with the tag on the door handle and at one point one of them walked in and started cleaning when we opened the door with us both in there

Breakfast buffet is great.

Over the years, we've stayed at either the Residence Inn or The Couryard many times on our trips to NYC. We've always enjoyed the stays. This time, unfortunately, the A/C went out for more than 2 days. Our in-room temperature was 85 degrees. It was impossible to sleep, as you can understand.,,especially with no windows to open. Long story short: at one point we reached the Manager, Letti. That was a blessing. Letti made us feel understood and paid attention to our discomfort. Her concern was very appreciated by us. We will stay there next time we are in NYC as a result of her generous accomodation and concern with our problem. On another note, we noticed the sheer drapes on the windows were tattered and need to be replaced. That should be attended to. It was a bad sign.

The approach to the hotel was nerve wracking but ended up being super accessible. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and super convenient to Broadway! Had a wonderful stay, highly recommend.
