It is very close to night market and morning market. Breakfast was included, with some options (no rice options though).
Nestled inside the neighborhood, it is definitely quieter than a guesthouse by the Main Street or larger road would be. No cars pass by this guesthouse as the road isn’t large enough for cars to go through.

සාමාන්යයට වඩා අඩු The guesthouse was in a good location and the staff was fair. But it was absolutely filthy. There was thick black grime on the counter top and in the shower. The little red thing shown in the picture next to the sink is the cap of a toothpaste tube from a previous guest. The glass in the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The sheets were wrinkled and did not appear to be changed from the prior guest.

Really enjoyable stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. Great location with food market nearby and riverside restaurants also very close.

The staff rocked, especially in the area of setting up tours and transportation. The location of this hotel was ideal and located to many of the major sights in the area.

The staff were kind and welcoming and helpful … breakfast each morning is so good. Keeps you full for a long time … internet can cut out sometimes and then works really well. Always helpful and informative. Is close to everything … all on walking distance
