The Manor at Abberley

We were met by very helpful and friendly staff and had a very sweet room on the top floor. The food for both dinner and then breakfast the following morning was excellent. It was an overnight stay for work and we will be coming back in the future.

Comfortable room although very restricted headroom in our room - bathroom folding door difficult to use - bed very comfortable- great towels.

The breakfast was exceptional

The hotel is situated in a nice rural location easily accessible from the M5 and close to the main towns of Worcestershire. I would characterise it as a gastro-pub with rooms rather than a hotel. There was some disappointment that my allocated room was completely different to the room photo on Expedia which had French windows. My room was an attic with skylights. It had unusual dimensions. A small bedroom and massive bathroom. The public areas needed refurbishment. The carpets in the public areas were heavily soiled. The restaurant food is generally good and the freshly cooked breakfast is especially good. Though kitchen service in the evening and breakfast was slow. I wanted breakfast at 8 am, however, it does not start until 8,30 am. I arrived at 8.30 but didn't get my breakfast until 9 am. An hour later than my plans. The lateness of the breakfast times seemed to inconvenience most guests. One had the feeling the hotel is run for the convenience of the management rather than the guests.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Plenty of seating in the common areas and a beautiful view from the porch. Staff were very accommodating and friendly—had a reservation mix-up on our end and they were very helpful in sorting it out

Very friendly staff. Great food. Our room Selsley was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view.

food was good. surprised that there was no housekeeping (though they did say we could ask for clean towels). staff friendly but not enough of them so could be quite long waits to be served.

Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast and well maintained

Lovely room and bathroom. Sadly the extreme heat and lack of air con was only the real downside to it. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, they made us and our dog feel so welcome.
