Premier Hotel - Cabin President - Hakodate

Location is the best, just next to train station and morning market, with tram stop within 3 minutes. Was told to pay additional ¥1200 for taxes despite paying full for the room prior on Expedia.

The staff and cleaning crew were great. The location is superb.However the hotel is really dated, they don’t even have a keycard access to use the elevator . I could hear the drain pipes clearly every time someone used a bathroom. The insulation of the hotel is really poor….The hotel did provided free earplugs at reception, but didn’t help at all….the breakfast was great tho.

The hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly. Location was great. It was right across from the train station, close to markets, has a pharmacy right next door and walking distance down to the main city centre. We got fresh towels every day. The bed was comfortable, but very small. We had booked a room for 4 people - 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 small kid. We didn’t realized the beds were only twin size beds. We have been travelling for 6 months and this was the first hotel we had issue with the bed being too small. Usually when hotel list that it would fit 4 people even if they call the beds double beds it was enough space for us. This room was listed as large twins so we assumed it was just a language or a wording translation issues and that if they say it fits 4 people it would fit 4 people. So if you book a large twin room for two people remember it’s really just a twin bed that is slightly bigger. You would definately need 2 large twin room for two adults. We booked the breakfast included option. Breakfast was served till 10 am. We enjoyed it. Kids loved the pancake machine. There were sashimi bowls. Eggs to order and other items. Breakfast was lovely. There were also free coffee from early afternoon till 7 pm am down at the lobby. In future we would just make sure we booked two rooms.

Typical high standard Japanese property. Took the stay with the breakfast package, which most reviews encouraged and was not disappointed. Good location if you were relying on the efficient train services. (Only less than 5 minutes). The famous morning market is also the next block from the hotel.

Very good location, opposite of train station and 25 meters away from the fish market.

good hotel stay, nothing but helpful service

The beds were comfortable and the staff was excellent. When I requested a softer pillow and an extra blanket, a staff member brought it to my room right away. The breakfast was delicious with many choices.

A really impressive hotel well located next to Hakodate station. Good sized clean room. Would come again.
