Residence Inn by Marriott Near Universal Orlando™

I spoke with staff at end of stay. Dirty cotton swab on clean towel when I checked in. Tub caulking on faucet cracking.

We had a family room - 2 adults, 16 & 10yr kids. The check in was effortless, beds were comfortable and the room very spacious. Location is very good for Universal Resorts. There are a couple of nice places to eat in walking distance. The shuttle service to Universal is good. A few issues we experienced- and reported. Some got sorted. Some didn’t. We stayed for 6 nights and had to request housekeeping after 3 days - I was told they had been busy! We had 2 sets of knives & forks (bear in mind a family room with self catering facilities). I reported it and was handed some plastic cutlery (apparently no stainless steel available). The shower was faulty and when reported the maintenance guy advised that it was normal (it wasn’t as no pressure and leaking). The pool wasn’t cleaned all the time we were there. Breakfast was okay - some days better than others - unfortunately served on single use plastic, but I guess that is the US. Overall I think we got value for money based on what we paid - just a few tweaks and this could be more representative of what I’d expect from a Marriott

Great location for theme parks.

Clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay I had. Staff members were very nice. Breakfast was quick and easy. My room met my expectations. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It made me felt at home. Definitely worth staying here!!!

The room disgusting and there was mold growing in the shower every single day I asked for it to be addressed annd every single day when returning exhausted from the amusement parks it was not done. Don’t waste your money. It’s not worth it to save the extra bucks.

The room was fine, outdated and little things not working and the pool was closed which was not good. When my daughter would look out the window at the double tree across the pond and see kids playing away in the pool over there

Staff was very helpful breakfast menu can be up graded and ADA rooms can be closer to elevator 9 out of 10 will recommend

Llegas muerto de sed y el hotel no te tiene agua en la habitación, ni en el lobby, deben mejorar eso porque el viajero llega cansado y lo que menos ha hecho es comprar agua para llevar al hotel, Al menos tener una botellita de agua por cada huésped el día que se llega.
