We had a great stay at the Blue Angel Dive resort. It was my 1st dive resort adventure as a new diver and they made me feel very comfortable and supported the whole time. It was wonderful having the restaurant on-site (with breakfast included -Bonus!). All the staff were great, especially Carlos & Rigel in the restaurant. Dive shop & boat folks were phenomenal! Dona Mary & Alfredo kept things on track & flowing. Ana took special care of me as I was a new diver & kinda freaked out at one point, but she reassured me while under the water & we finished strong & well. Hanging out at the resort was pleasant & relaxing. The pool was open and available til later in the evening and there was even really good live music several of the nights. No need to go anywhere else. Eva the owner was an added treat, very personable and kind. She definitely loves the place! I'm looking forward to my next trip back. It's not a "fancy" place, feels more like family & laid back. I really enjoyed it! The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. They supplied both shower & pool towels.

Great place to stay

Blue Angel was everything we hoped for in a dive vacation & more. If you want polished luxury this may not be your place, but if you want a warm, authentic, rustic dive resort with incredible people, stunning views & a welcoming atmosphere, it’s absolute magic. The staff here is AMAZING. Everyone was friendly, helpful & genuinely cared about guests having a great experience. Eva, the owner, is kind, generous, hands-on & truly the heart of this place. She even went out of her way to make my birthday special & by the end felt more like a friend than a resort owner. The dive operation was FANTASTIC. Walking straight out to the dive boat was unbeatable & we loved that dives weren’t only at sunrise. The relaxed 10 AM departures felt much more vacation-friendly. Ana, our STELLAR dive master, was TOP notch & made my newer-diver friend feel comfortable & confident underwater. The food was excellent, especially the avocado smash, tacos, shrimp tempura & burgers. Carlos at the restaurant kept us laughing & also offers island tours, definitely hit him up if interested. The resort is clearly designed for divers w/ gear-hanging balconies, purified water stations, hammocks, a pool & easy night snorkeling where rays & octopus sure to be seen. A few tips: lots of stairs/no elevator, limited outlets so bring a power strip, no hair dryer & AT&T service struggled while Verizon worked better. We truly could not have been happier with our stay & absolutely plan to return. Highly recommend!

Nice place if you dive with them as well. Rooms very clean and bigger than I thought. Maybe adding more surface would be better and road noise is bad but I had ear plug.

The staff and restaurant were great. The hotel was clean, rustic and a dive resort. Great amenities for that. My only complaint is one of the main roads is right next to the resort. I mean right there. The road noise was at times very very loud. Not sure who drives the unmuffled motorcycle at 3 am most morning but ugh! The sunset views from our patio were awesome. Best part…no cruise piers in your line of sight. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good, complimentary breakfast every morning. Only feet from the water and great live music one night.

The Blue Angel Resort is now our home away from home. It has everything for divers and even non divers. Beautiful resort, right on the ocean, with views from every room. A fantastic dive shop with the best staff who made sure we had the best diving experience. Already planning our return trip, we can’t wait!

We loved our stay at Blue Angel Resort on Cozumel! The room was a little bit dated, but the beds were comfortable and really had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the beautiful ocean views, being able to snorkel right out front, and yummy breakfast at the attached restaurant.

The rooms are old and not clean. The sliding doors barely work. The property is worn down and needs a lot of work. We didn’t have hot water for three days and they could have cared less. Disappointed, but you get what you pay for.
