I’ve been pretty much in all the hotels in Melrose Arch and the African Pride is hands down my favorite option. The hotel has a unique character that goes beyond its infrastructure and decor, it goes all the way through the astonishing training of its staff. The people at the African pride is by far the best I’ve experienced at the Marriott network at a global level. We’re definitely will become regulars while in town and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Johannesburg.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms before and during stay. Hotel safety enhanced by gated community of Melrose Place. Very nice and elegant style of decor and themes throughout rooms, lobby, and restaurants.
