Very spacious, well designed rooms - enjoyed the amenities and complimentary minibar and cocktails. Great location next to the market!

Amazing stay, incredible staff that went out of their way to make sure our experience was top notch.

Hotel Louis in Munich is a beautiful hotel with an exceptional location directly adjacent to the Viktualienmarkt and within walking distance to Marienplatz, shopping, restaurants, and many of Munich’s main attractions. The location truly could not be better for exploring the city. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the market, which were beautiful to open on a spring day. The room itself was thoughtfully designed, with a spacious bathtub, a separate toilet closet, and extremely comfortable pillows and bedding. The hotel also has two elevators, which made getting around much easier and more convenient. The front desk staff were wonderful throughout our stay. They were welcoming, accommodating, and graciously assisted us with an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after traveling internationally. The only downside to our stay involved the food and beverage service areas. Breakfast should absolutely be included in the reservation if possible, because ordering breakfast separately is extremely expensive for what is offered. Service is very slow, and two people can easily spend around $85 USD on a very modest breakfast such as eggs and bacon. Unfortunately, we did not feel the breakfast quality or experience justified the cost. Similarly, service at both the rooftop bar and restaurant was quite slow, and the staff in those areas were not particularly attentive.

We loved our stay here for two days while traveling throughout Germany. Everything was above and beyond my expectations! Perfect location to get out and walk throughout the altstadt and the market was right outside the door. Breakfast was delicious, comfortable beds, big rooms and the staff was warm and friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

I have many good things to say about Louis Hotel. First and foremost, the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Also, the hotel is in a great location. It's near Marienplatz, The S Bahn, numerous restaurants, and a beer garten. The room and bathroom were of adequate size and water, coffee, and snacks were placed in the room at no additional charge. The one negative thing that I must mention is that the mattress was thin and not comfortable. A more comfortable mattress would make a huge difference and a 5 star experience.

Location is very good, but be aware if you drive, parking and valet doesn’t mean what you think it does and the location to drop off luggage is impossible to find.
