Mitsui Garden Hotel Hiroshima

The location of this hotel was great for being able to walk to the Peace Park, the Atomic Bomb Museum, and Hondori the shopping area. We didn't figure out pubic transportation in this area, but were able to get Uber to take us places that weren't walkable. This hotel was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The staff was remarkably kind and helpful. The vibe of the hotel is upscale and chill. We had two rooms booked since we were a family of 5 and one of our rooms was a smoking room. We didn't realize the booking was made this way. The hotel attempted to lessen the smell in that room but it was pretty off putting for people who don't smoke. The non-smoking room had no smell. I would recommend this hotel to travelers visiting this area.

This hotel is in a very convenient location and very affordable. Breakfast had a lot of choices. The staff was helpful when approached. The bathroom was quite small. I appreciated my stay here.

Staff and location was wonderful. Hotel was clean, but also just older. Parking in the location can be challenging - a few lots around but you need to have a (very) small car. It was overall a great stay. And their free walking tour was personable and kind.

The room for three people was a bit cramped, but it was a good deal for the money. Staff is super helpful and friendly, and umbrellas are available for borrowing when it is raining!

Overall we had a great stay at the Gardens. The staff were all super polite and were good at speaking English. The breakfast everyday overviewing Hiroshima is an unforgettable. They a great assortment of food, salads and juices. The parking experience was really cool seeing the cars move in the platform and onto a conveyor system. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance from a lot of local destinations like Freedom Park and the Dome. The room was loaded with towels, had free bottled water and had pajamas to wear. They are so comfortable and worth the stay. The pillows have beads for relaxing and cooling. My only issue was the room was dusty especially the area above the bed.

This was a great stay!! It was conveniently located. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They had little snacks different times of the day if you wanted to relax while enjoying the view on the 25th floor. Just a nice treat if you need a quiet break.

Great older hotel in a handy area. The rooms are large and well appointed. Only 10 mins walk to Peace Park and museum, 15 mins to the shopping area. There is also a nearby ferry that runs directly from Peace Park to Miyajima. The staff speak English reasonable well and we’re all extremely helpful.
