SSAW Boutique Hotel Shanghai Bund

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They were attentive to us, helped us recommend restaurants, and also helped us navigate some local ordering platforms which was very helpful.

Breakfast was excellent with many food choices. Staff was helpful. Location was great.

Great value hotel with great location and breakfast. I had nothing to complain about the hotel. I was arrived to this hotel after I stopped at another destination before Shanghai. My after heavy use of sunblock and sun exposure with not kid friendly hotel soup usage, my son started to develop rashes on his face by the time arriving in Shanghai, checking in at hotel. We were hoping it will get better but it got worse as we went forward with our travel plans in shanghai. By our third day, when checking out from the hotel to depart to Disneyland, our son's face had noticeable rashes, my wife wanted to take him to a hospital to get a check up. Luckily we had a travel insurance and we wanted to take our son to some of the listed hospitals to visit by international traveler. So we asked the lo by receptionist and I think her name was Suki. She helped us to make a call to the hospital and set up an appointment for was to go immediately with about 15 minutes raxi ride. We then was able to arrive at the hospital had my son checked up by a doctor received an medication and given a direction on what to watch out for and what might be a possible cause. We were about two hours behind wirh our original schedule to go visit Disneyland and we were able to go with medications and peace of mind knowing that it was not anything too serious and could go forward with travel plans with medication and right ways to protect and prevent. We were super grateful for the hotel staffs.

The room smelled like smoke, room was very dusty, staff aren’t friendly at all. They see you trying to get into the lobby with your luggage and don’t hesitate to help. No one understand basic English.

Great location by the Bund. Have been many times to this hotel. The service used to be better but if you ask them to fix whatever is not working out, they will promptly

Great place with easy access to transportation

One of the better hotels we have ever stayed at. Only about 100m from a metro station, walkable into city centre and the river, great breakfast selection, lovely spacious room and bathroom and excellent English speaking staff. Only problem is the construction going on next door which starts quite early. Ruins the serenity while having breakfast on the patio. But that is Shanghai really.

Big variety of breakfast items. Nice location to the Bund, Yu Garden, China Town.

Honestly, the hotel was nice, but the staff were amazing. Really helpful.

This hotel was amazing. The tub was huge. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. But the best part was the staff. When I arrived I was suffering from a migraine and very sick. They were incredibly helpful bringing my bags to my room and getting me extra water bottles and asking if I needed anything else. I will absolutely stay here again.
