Extended Stay America Suites - Buffalo - Airport

Verbally abusive older man at the reception desk. It was my third request for promised plates and flatwear since checking in 2 hours earlier. This was a big deal, since the reason I stay here is because I need to prepare my own food due to severe medical condition. The man yelled at me loudly, told me he only had pots and pans but no dishes and that he could not understand what I wanted. (I am a native English speaker). I returned to my room, got pen and paper, and wrote down what I needed. I returned to reception and handed him my note. He yelled at me again, saying he was on the phone. I left again. Twenty minutes later, he banged on my room door, handed me a full set of plates and flatware and yelled some more about being on the phone. Management needs to get rid of this verbally abusive, unstable nut!

The room was not completely clean. There was some places in the room where there was food items. Walls had dirt on them. The iron’s cord was broken in two and just twisted together to work. Very loud throughout the hallways. I get it that people live there; however it was loud. I do like that security was on site the entire time we were there. I also like that we had access to silverware, plates and cookware.

Very basic. Had a funky smell.

It was dirty. The sheets and the bathroom.

It does have a kitchenette,however you have to ask at the desk for everything needed to use it. Had to wait hour and 30min to get our room check was at 3 we arrived at 4:10 wasn't able to get into the room until 530. Pool was dirty and again had to ask the desk to open the door to access.

We only stopped there to sleep overnight since we were flying out very early in the morning. There room was decent sized. Full kitchen, bathroom, 2 queen beds, desk.

This property was bad. The inside of the building smelled of a mix of chemicals and boiled onions. The other “guests “ were loud and rude. People in the room next door starting at 7 am had opened their doors and argued loudly all morning. The security was non existent. Keycard scanner to enter building from parking lot was broken which left the door unlocked and free for anyone to enter without keycard. I left a day and a half early and was not given a refund for the last day from the desk clerk who wouldn’t give me his name. I would not recommend this place if you are intending to enjoy a visit to the area.

Wasn't sure what to expect since the my experiences with Extended Stay have varied greatly, but I was very happy with this location. Only 1 walkable mile from the airport. Room had a comfortable bed, working TV, hot shower, spacious bathroom, and studio kitchen with full size refrigerator. Breakfast was usual Extended Stay version of "continental", with grits (I prefer oatmeal), small muffins, and hot coffee/tea available. Hallways smelled clean. Staff was also very helpful.

Buffalo was great — visited Niagara Falls, tried local food, and enjoyed the cafes. It is a city with a lot of character, history, and friendly people. Everyone should experience Buffalo at least once, and I would definitely retur
