It was like 2 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and the layout was convenient. We like the breakfast too.

Overall a good hotel in a good location, but the cleaning could do with a bit more work – there were cobwebs and dust in my room. My room was very compact

Very nice room just steps from the Haarlem train station. Very convenient for getting into Amsterdam and for exploring Haarlem itself.

Lovely boutique hotel. Gracious staff that went above and beyond to make our stay (grandparents with six grandchildren) perfectly wonderful. Front desk was always helpful; housekeeping staff performed magic on our rooms. Location is fantastic: one minute from the train station and in the heart of charming Haarlem. We loved being at Hotel Lion D'Or!

We loved this hotel - from the gorgeous, moody decor, to the delicious breakfasts, to the friendly and helpful staff. We traveled with our two young kids and were treated kindly by everyone despite the noise they sometimes made. We were sad to leave and would love to stay here again!
