MOOo by the Castle

A truly brilliant place to stay - we came 1 night mid week and wished we'd stayed for more. The 1 bed apartment is bigger than we expected, incredibly well furnished with loads of nice touches, and felt like a complete steal for the price paid per night. We paid twice as much for an extremely disappointing hotel, small room and dated facilities in the Old Town later that week. MOOo is just superb for what you get. Room - big, comfy, well furnished. Bathroom is super modern, with wonderful rainfall shower and great amenities and toiletries. The living/dining area is bigger than the pictures implied, and the staff kindly gave us a bottle of fizz for our anniversary which was a beautiful touch. The whole apartment is airy, clean, big and brilliant. Can't rate it high enough. Staff were efficient, check in rapid and simple, and everyone was just very friendly. The courtyard on site included live band and cocktails from the bar (very cool looking cocktails, chemistry themed!) which produced a great atmosphere. Courtyard is wonderful with trees everywhere, just a lovely vibe to sit and enjoy. Be aware - there are no lifts so suitcases must be carried up a set of steps to the apartments. Upstairs, each apartment had a small outdoor table and seats overlooking the courtyard, plus blankets if it's cold. A really lovely view and experience generally. Can't fault MOOo or rate them higher - the price paid for the excellent accommodation makes them truly superb.

Everything excellent! Exceptional stay!

The property was excellent - so happy we stayed here and not directly in Old Town! The room was comfortable and the location was a great home base for us to see Prague without being in the noise and crowd. It was very close to the castle and many restaurants. The only time we didn't walk was when we arrived and departed - it would have been a challenge to haul our luggage up/down the hill from public transport. We 100% would stay at MOOo by the Castle again.

Super hébergement, immense appartement 2 chambres, bien équipé, propre, sécuritaire, tranquille, très bien situé! Notre séjour a été super. Très contents de notre choix et sans aucun doute nous y retournerions. Nous le recommandons fortement (appartement 2 chambres). Le personnel est sur place et très sympathique et aidant au besoin.

Our stay was fantastic, the apartment was beyond awesome. Location just below the castle was beyond phenomenal. Lots of restaurant options nearby. Only word of caution is if you have trouble walking the location could be a challenge as it’s up a hill. We just loved our stay.. five stars

Mooo by the castle is a charming and quirky hotel that is located at the walking distance from the Hradcany castle on a quiet street in an old but renovated building. We had a two bedroom apt, with two and a half bathrooms, spatious and with a new kitchen. Stairs were interesting spiral and wooden and very old but it made you feel like you went back in time. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms brand new and very clean. Decor is cow inspired as its name indicates but very modern. We would gladly come back to this hotel for a visit to Prague. Communication with personnel was easy, and pleasant. Highly recommend.

One of the best places we've stayed, ever! The apartment was huge and thoughtfully equipped. It didn't mention air conditioning so we were delighted to find one unit in the lounge / living room and another in the master bedroom. The the second bedroom, a Dyson fan had thoughtfully been provided. Check in / out was smooth, the lady on reception very polite, friendly and helpful. Would also highly, highly recommend Kafe & Hrnky around the corner for a lovely breakfast in a quiet courtyard.

We recently stayed here with my sisters during marathon weekend, and our stay at MOOo was amazing. The apartment was in the perfect quiet location, yet still close to everything — Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, trams, supermarkets, and great restaurants. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms and an extra half bath, which was absolutely perfect for marathon runners! The space was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Sophie was incredibly helpful, quick with check-in, and always had such a pleasant and welcoming vibe. Thank you as well for the coffee — we loved the Nespresso machine! We stayed for six nights and would definitely return again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

The ambiance and location of the property was fantastic being only a 5min walk from the Castle, in a lovely quieter area with little supermarkets close by which was great for breakfast etc in the apartment. The apartment was stunning and is situated in a 500 year old building. It has a Museum (and tour) of the alchemist Kelly who used to live there. There is also a little bar with food and drinks which closes at 10pm. The hosts, Marie and Sofia were so helpful and friendly and left a bottle of bubbly and a card welcoming us. Marie even carried our heavy bags up the stairs. Highly recommend.
