Humphreys Half Moon Inn

Beautiful location and wonderful pool bar. The room was relatively clean, but the carpets need some attention. Parking was difficult as guests compete with parking from those who use the same parking lot to see weekly concerts on the property.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We encountered unhelpful staff, poor communication and stinginess. We were told at check in that bike rentals are included. Not being local we asked for suggestions as to where to take them. Staff did not have one suggestion. Why rent out bikes if you can’t give one suggestion as to where to ride them? Unhelpful. My son left his googles at the pool. I went to the front desk and was told they didn’t have them. I went back the next day and was told the lost and found is in a different location and this time I was given instructions on how to access it. I would have wanted to do this the day before as we maybe could have gotten the goggles. Why not try and be a little helpful and tell me about the lost and found in the first place? Cleaning staff walked right into our room while we were in it. We got a call that “someone” had ordered us wine. When they came to deliver it the staff member gave me the bottle and I asked again who is this for? She said “are you Mary Lou?” I said no. Then she took the wine back, right out of my hands! I said I was disappointed because at this point I was excited-and she begrudgingly gave it to me. We googled the price and it was $5. Lobby coffee isn’t free as it is in most other hotels ($3). Parking is steep at $25. The pool charged $11 gratuity to our credit card that we didn’t approve. When I asked about it at check out they assured me that wouldn’t happen- it did.

Property was beautiful. Clean rooms, friendly staff, clean pool, everything you could ask for! We had an awesome stay!

Beautiful property with Tiki vibes. It’s an older hotel but all new and clean inside. Staying on the marina side provided an amazing view!

Everything was perfect!

The bed was VERY hard and was the only real complaint.

The grounds are pretty but the robe in the room was used and not changed for us.

Unable to get reservation at restaurant was only downfall

We loved our room, but it was a bit difficult to get the stairs pregnant at night. No elevator and nor great lighting on second floor. Still was a small inconvenience compared to how lovely everything was. Room was clean and fresh, though definitely a lack of plugs near the bed. Only one side had a side table with a plug. The other side was more of a fend-for-yourself kind of situation. We didn’t get to enjoy any of the discounts offered since we were only staying a night, but we managed to hit up the heated pool which was nice. Every staff we spoke to was also quite lovely
