Leonardo Hotel Nürnberg

Stayed here for Rock Im Park festival. In terms of location for this it’s great, a 2 minute walk to the tram stop then a 20 minute ride to the festival site. We paid a very reasonable price for 5 nights and I can’t complain in this regard. However, some small issues. Upon check in we were told we were too early, then 20 minutes later we heard someone check in with no issue. Would have been nice if reception would have come and told us we could check in instead of keeping us waiting. Also, housekeeping, whilst good, are very noisy and start early in the day so any chance of a late sleep is out of the window. We had some noisy festival guests and the hotel didn’t seem to have any interest in keeping the peace, which is a shame. Overall, especially for the festival, it’s a good budget option in a great location, just don’t expect a lot of sleep after a hard days partying at Rock Im Park!

Very good hotel very good breakfast. I was expecting to have twin or double bed but they put two single bed together.

It was alright for business travel.

Unfortunately, the hotel are near unmangeable fields.

The Hotel itself was fine, reception was friendly and fast, rooms were clean and comfortable for the most part, apart from some questionable stains on the curtains. The downside is that a homeless camp has taken over the vacant property next door which is an eyesore and on Sunday morning we were woken by people yelling at each other for at least an hour. This was annoying because the advertised AC was not working so we had to have the window open to try to maintain a livable temperature in the room. The area is not very friendly but it is a short walk from the aldstadt and Ubahn so leaving is convenient.

Nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options. It is a short walk into the inner city.

Charged exorbitantly high price for a very small room, its the smallest room i have ever stayed

The breakfast staff and food quality/variety was good. Room was small but mostly clean. We chose this hotel based on a previous Hotel Leonardo stay, but should have researched more. While the hotel itself is small but nice, staff is friendly, the area around has many boarded up buildings, shady looking motels, a derelict building with squatters is directly beside the hotel. Not the hotel's fault, but not being familiar with the area didn't feel comfortable going out after dark, especially since traveling with family.
