Comfy bed - softer than the standard hard bed here. Dark room (no appliance lights on after turning room lights off). Opaque door to bathroom (yay, no frosted glass in bathroom wall!). Quiet. Good a/c. Pretty pool. Pool table. Good breakfast. Nicer finishes than many places and no sewer smell! Good location, very easy to get to all the metro lines - just a bit of a walk (5+ minutes) to the main street. Night market on the corner and many restaurants and shops around. Easy metro to airport if you don't mind walking (15 bhat on blue line one stop, then 45 bhat on ARL airport line direct to BKK airport).

The pool needed proper maintenance. And next property to hotel new construction was being built. So constant hammering and sawing noise affected the enjoyment of the outdoor areas..
