Park Regis City Quays

Great room and convenient location.

A bit dated and some parts need attention (the towel rack in my shower was holding on by a prayer, the taps have the chrome worn off) but I do think that’s reflected in the price and I think the value is fair. There was a laundry machine in the unit and Park Regis provided detergent for a one load which was a pleasant surprise and great after 3 weeks of travel. It’s moments away from the end of the boardwalk, which will lead you by scenic waterfront to downtown Cairns, the marina and the esplanade. I did try to book a trip with the front desk as their lobby is stacked with various pamphlets and has signs encouraging visitors to book with them but was told I was better off doing it in my own which seemed a bit silly. There was also an absolute stack of rules, including a $100 fee for lost hotel cards. I asked a few friends who work in hospitality and no one had ever heard of that fee being expected of a visitor. Overall a good experience but a bit shy of great.

Great location and very well equipped and stocked room for basic hotel stay

No food, but there was a refrigerated and plates and utensils and ahot water pot with tea and coffee.

Great location! Only a few minute walk to everything you could want. Room was basic but good for the price. Staff were great. Definitely recommend

Everything about our accomodation was what we expected. No complaints

The room was very well equipped and clean. Staff at check in unhelpful. Did not like deposit taken on arrival even after room fully paid for and still waiting 6 days and still not been refunded.

Nice place to stay close to the city centre. Sadly guests in room close to ours decided to party until 5 in the morning. The rooms are very spacious but the outside areas adjoining the balconies have got “let’s party” written all over it.

The front door staff was incredible and helped with issues that arises and made the experience fantastic.
