Halswell Lodge - Motel

තරු ශ්‍රේණිගත කිරීම් Klook හි දේපල පිළිබඳ දළ විශ්ලේෂණය මත පදනම් වේ (සේවා සහ පහසුකම් ඇතුළත් කර ඇති ආකාරය වැනි), තවද ඒවා යොමු කිරීම සඳහා පමණි.

Literally one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. No front desk. No phone to call so had to figure out how to use mine for international call. Leaking roof. Rotting meat in pan in communal kitchen stove. Rancid smell. Broken glass in room in floor. My poor 13 year old I had to deal with it for 2 nights because I didn’t have a phone to call front desk in my room for help and internet not connecting enough to use my WiFi calling for international call. Plus it was pouring outside and my son and I have been traveling for a month and were so tired and couldn’t deal with finding a new place and schlepping ok our stuff again as we were leaving Wellington in 2 nights time. I literally changed our flights to leave that place asap. Truly awful. So much to say. Nothing good….oh wait the bed was actually ok but no heat in room besides a sketchy space heater and no extr blanket or pillows which were basically nonexistent. But no bed bugs so that was a win.

Room wasn't equipped very well. Windows had warped frames and 2 of which couldn't be closed as they catch tight on the frames. No actual check in staff on-site. Had to try and get thru a phone process to get the key from a lock box thing in their reception area. At yhe bottom of the stairs leading to to our room there was what can only be des ribed as a waterfall of water leaking thru the ceiling and pouring onto the floor at the base of the staircase . To be honest it was quite concerning just how much water was constantly pouring from inside the roof cavity of the ground floor and we were worried at one stage if it would cause electrical issues as the leak appeared to be coming thru directly under our room also the communal kitchen is a terrible idea. We skipped making food and went out to eat because other guests had used and dirtier all the utensils and just left them on the benches and I refuse to do a strangers dishes in order to have something clean for us to cook with and I feel they should make all guests aware they need to clean anything they use so it's available for the other guests too. It was cheap but it became terribly obvious why once we were there and I wouldn't stay there again personally. It's too rundown and hasn't been very well maintained. We had a constant breeze as the main windows only closed to around an inch from the windiw frame as they wedge solid against the frame and would break the glass if we tried to force them fully closed.

Could not get the television to work. Rang the mamager , said he would be there within half hour. Did not show up. Rang again, said he was on his way . Did not show up. Still never showed up. Never came at all. Very disappointing.

Cold , Damp, Mould, Lot of street noise.

Centrally located with parking makes it an ideal choice for an overnight if you are seeing a play, show or concert.

The place was not clean at all.

Was a basic and cheap motel which suited the 5 of us in a two bedroom apartment for the weekend. We were hardly there in the day. Not the cleanest or flashest but affordable. Kitchen with jug, toaster, stove top, microwave, fridge and all basic cooking utensils available. Great location, walking distance to town or water front. Staff were lovely and helpful when we needed things. Parking available but very tight and a steep driveway to get up to the carpark.

I liked how central it was to everything in the city. The linens were clean and we were supplied with them daily. It was cheap so you get what you pay for. It was a bit dirty (dusty in places and a it was a dirty mess under the bed). Signs of a lack of deep cleans. The shower from the room above leaked onto our toilet. There wasn't enough cutlery for the 3 of us and only the bare necessities in the kitchen. It wasn't a very quiet place and we heard yelling in the night. You have to pay for parking, $15 a night. In general, as I said, you get what you paid for and you make do.

Great for what we needed. Room is small but heats easily with heater supplied.

The walls were thin so was loud. Kid upstairs that sounds like they live there was running and loud till late evening. Small beds and not comfy.
