Wonderdul front facing room with bay windows. Wish the windows were a bit more sound proof as restaurant is located below window but they shut down around 10 pm. Overall a wonderful and comfortable stay at a boutique hotel across a lovely park away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Would happily stay there again.

The staff at Black Ivy were very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts and the warm atmosphere at the hotel.

The Black Ivy is both a fantastic hotel and a wonderful restaurant. The team offers the best hospitality and support. They are friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel and rooms are comfortable and it's a good value for the money. We always enjoy staying there when we need a hotel in Edinburgh.

Great location, very clean room and washroom. There's no AC in the room but you're provided with a fan. I have no complaints about my stay and would come again.

Such a cool and unique place...very lively bar.. Great atmosphere! Really good outside sitting area.... Rom s are well appointed with unique decor....comfortable bed and great shower!!! Probably not the place to go if you want a quiet night!!!
