I’ve stayed at the Cape Town Lodge several times in the last three years through work. The staff is kind and attentive and the property is carefully maintained. The location is particularly great with easy access to local sites, fantastic food and memorable views.

We loved that hotel. The staff was great, the breakfast buffet was also good. The location was great. We could walk everywhere. The hop on hop off bus stop was not far. We were basically across the street about a block away from colourful Bo Kaap. We got upgrade to stay in a Loft on the 9th floor with an amazing view of the mountain range. Two people really went out of their way to help us that we really appreciated. One was the young Porter named Sesethy, the other one was Sanelisiwe who worked in the Breakfast Buffet. Both went the extra mile for us and we are very grateful for their outstanding services. We we would stay there again.

Parking was not good. I checked out of my room on May 1st and still have not received my deposit. Refund immediately!

I've stayed at the Lodge several times by now and they have a persistent issue with their key cards: essentially one neds to get the card recoded every day or two as they keep using very used cards that do not hold the key info on their magnetic strip long enough (a hotel like this should be able to afford new key cards and throw the worn out ones out). Othet than this: perfect location...

Enjoyable stay. Good gym facilities for a hotel. Clean room and very comfy bedding. Spacious room and bathroom. Shame there was no standard complimentary bottle of water for the price / being 4*. There is a kettle and sink in the room though. I’d recommend
