The staff was very helpful especially ordering taxis, very prompt; and also Ryo was very good when ordering drinks at the bar. The location of the hotel is excellent for getting to all the World Heritage sites. The rooms were smaller but very well appointed, with low lighting. The bed was very comfortable. The huge bath tub and the rainfall shower head were extra special.

Beautiful, big rooms. Location is great, not in the thick of it but right across from Nijojo Castle and in a charming neighborhood.

Great hotel for our stay in Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and happy to help with suggestions on places to see or go. Close walk to transit. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Love the cool design of the hotel. I booked the bigger room, layout was sleek, great amenities, bed is comfy. The room was a bit dark though, the lights above the TV cabinet didn’t work. It’s just next to Nijo Castle and you have lots of small restaurants in the neighbourhood.
