Great spot, close to everything on the waterfront, walking distance. Plenty of space in the unit.

The Red George Inn was convenient and walkable to enjoy downtown Halifax. I stayed in the governors suite which was nice. Parking is OK - down around the corner one block so keep that in mind if you have a couple of pieces of luggage. Owners were very responsive when I contacted them with a couple of questions.

Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away.

The room was a great location. Great communication. We asked for a later check out and they were fine with that.

Tristan is an amazing host! Very receptive & quick to respond & helpful with everything. Flexible check out & perfect location in downtown Halifax. Walkable to everything. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all our friends.
They have several units on the same property, which is great if you have a larger group of couples

Parking easy and access good for us but not if you have mobility issues.
We had 2 rooms in 2 different buildings. One was exactly the same and same standard as our last visit, very good.
The other, larger suite was missing certain touches e.g. very small bathroom/ shower/ no bottled water or biscuits provided.
Would be nice touch to have milk in fridge rather than powdered milk.
Excellent location.
