Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport

Inside the hotel everything looks brand new. Spatious rooms. Free parking (you have to register the car at the reception). Restaurant is good and breakfast buffet generous (though not included). The staff vas very nice and helpful. They can call a cab for you to get into town - often there are some waiting at the airport so they'll come quickly. There is a train that goes into town but it runs once an hour so it requires some planning. Though it's next to the airport, it was very quiet

I preface this review by saying the room cost over £600 for 2 nights and needs to be judged as such. For that price I expect far better than what I got. We gave our name to check in and the first thing I was told by the receptionist was that my card had been declined, but I hadn't given any card to reception. Plus, the room was paid in full. After the receptionist confirmed this was true I asked if I needed to add my card to the room since we would be spending on site. I was told no card was necessary and we could pay as and when we bought things. We went to the bar for a drink and was told they don't take cards or cash, only room keys. So I had to go back to the receptionist to add the card to the room. The room... hairs on the towel, hairs in the shower and the table in the room hadn't been wiped and was sticky. The shampoo bottle was just an empty bottle with zero shampoo inside. For £100/night these issues wouldn't be a problem, but £300/night they are unacceptable. The one good thing is the lady host running breakfast was fabulous. And the breakfast food is nice too.

The staff was amazing, kind and accommodating! A wonderful place to stay anytime you travel in and out of Scotland through Inverness! Would definitely stay here again

Had lovely view from back of hotel and complete bonus a stones throw from the airport

We had an early flight and decided to stay near the airport. This was perfect, with a decent restaurant and bar as well.

Very clean room, staff was wonderful and location was perfect. We stay here often when in Scotland and will be staying again!

Convenient for airport

This is a great place to stay since it is only a 4-5 minute walk from the airport and if all your activities are within a 100 miles of the hotel

Room wasn't clean - the trash hadn't been emptied and had paperwork, tissues and a pair of socks clearly in the bin. The shower wasn't clean - mould on tiles and in grout throughout the shower and fittings. Hotel was completely booked so couldn't be changed to another room.
