The breakfast variety could have been better. The hotel needs a revamp. Cracked tiles and fittings look dated. Friendly and approachable staff were a delight.

Having stayed at another property in Cape Town a few days before, I want to call out 'Fabian' for his helpful comments and guidance. Front desk and reception were also prompt, efficient and welcoming throughout our brief stay. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

Wonderful luxurious stay at this 5-star property near Bo Kaap in central Cape Town. Delicious food especially at the top SA restaurant, Urchin. There was a mix up at check in but it was corrected by staff by the time I had finished dinner. Like all areas of Cape Town CBD, it may be uncomfortably with some people asking for money. Unfortunately there’s a wide economic disparity between the haves and have-nots.
