Hyatt Place Kunming South Railway Station

We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Kunming, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service stood out. The staffs were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming, always ready to assist whenever needed. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of options that were both satisfying and enjoyable. It was a great way to start the day. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Kunming South Railway Station, which was very convenient and made traveling much easier. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The shower water pressure was quite low, which affected the overall comfort. In addition, the hotel WiFi was rather unstable. We experienced frequent disconnections, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s still a good stay thanks to the excellent service and thoughtful amenities, but addressing these issues would definitely enhance the guest experience further.

Great location steps from the train station - modern, elegant

It was amazing. The staff at the hotel, Ann and Caroline, were fantastic. They were very helpful, courteous in helping us after a long day on the train and getting us a free upgrade into a fantastic room. The room was very clean, warm and had an amazing view. The breakfast was very delicious as there was quite a bit to choose from. I am planning on staying at this hotel on my return journey back to Kunming. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are traveling into Kunming, either into the Kunming South Railway Station or from any other destination. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the Kunming South Railway Station. All in all, a fantastic experience.
