Vinpearl Cua Hoi, Affiliated by Meliá

We chose a beautiful suite with balconies overlooking the pool and ocean. We were delighted to discover the suite is nicer than the pictures on the hotel’s website. The breakfast facility is very good, with many stations of freshly prepared food to accommodate Western and Asian tastes. The grounds are well tended and the pool is spectacular. Staff is top-notch. Special thanks to Linh at front desk who went out of her way to communicate with the local football club and get tickets for us. The only thing I don’t like about the hotel is the facial recognition technology it uses for restaurant entrance.

Amazing as always Mr Robin and Van Truong were very accommodating and helpful.

I stopped here for 4 nights, whilst travelling around Vietnam for several weeks. It seemed like the perfect escape from bustling cities and car horns. Unfortunately, on my second day they hosted a private event. It may have been a one off, but I was given no prior warning. I appreciate they need to make money, but the volume of this event was completely unfair on other guests and made the hotel unbearable for a whole day. When quiet, the place has a lovely relaxed feel. I had a super efficient and friendly check in by wonderful Long, and lovely check out Thung (sorry if I have spelt incorrectly). The rooms have that familiar Meliá look and feel. Spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed, and lovey crisp white sheets. There’s everything you could possibly need, including a fridge and a safe. My only issue was the food and drink. I simply didn’t find it to be the same standard as other Melia’s on my trip. The pool is phenomenal. Really big and I assume heated, as it was a nice temperature. The pool loungers were also really comfy. The grounds are magnificent and maintained to a very high standard. As always, their lovely staff were brilliant from start to finish, but for me their food and beverages let them down a little. It’s a 5 star resort with 3 star food. I suspect I was just unfortunate with the noisy event, and I’d happily return and recommend.

As usual, the Cua Hoi experience was amazing! The staff were very welcoming and Robin was very accommodating in facilitating a birthday cake for my wife.

As always it was a lovely stay at Cua Hoi, all of the staff were friendly and very attentive. Although, I should reserve extra praise for Mr Robin (Hieu) the food/beverages manager and one of his supervisors Phuong who always make my stay there amazing, just like being at home.
