Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

The staff was great, they warned us at check-in that there is construction going on across the road overnight and that we may need to use the ear plugs provided, or we could choose to find another place - we decided to stay and we’re glad we did, as we couldn’t really hear any noise from the construction site. Breakfast is excellent, so much variety, and they have Jura coffee machines, I was quite impressed. They provide unlimited water bottles and offer free self-laundry facilities, extremely useful. There are many good places to eat just outside the hotel, and the entry to Tianmen Mountain is right across the street. This hotel is a great choice for a stay in Zhangjiajie.

Hotel room was nice, clean and mostly quiet, except for slamming doors and kids jumping or heavy walkers. Great to have free laundry facilities on the 3rd floor to use. Close to restaurants, spas and gondola to the Stairs to Heaven area. Good breakfast, with choices for westerners and locals. Only done fall is cleaning staff didn’t check liquids in the bathroom that had runout after the first day and never replenished, and we were there for 5 nights. Overall, good stay and would stay again.

Rooms were excellent, very clean. The staff were extremely nice. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen in all of my hotel stays. They also have free laundry machines for guests to use. Location is superb if you’re going to Tianmen mountain, you can literally cross the street and access the cable car or buses up to the mountain. Lots of food options near the hotel as well.

Location is great. Just across the tianmen cable car station. Lots of restaurant around the area. Breakfast is amazing. Lots of healthy options. And staff are very helpful

Excellent hotel and location

Excellent hotel and location.

The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the mountain cable car. It was clean and offered great amenities, and the breakfast was good as well. My only concern was the airport shuttle/transportation that was mentioned in my booking for freep. There seemed to be a misunderstanding with the staff, and communication was quite difficult, so I ended up taking a DiDi instead.

We provided our room # when we went in for breakfast; however, when used a plate to hold some fruit to bring to our room, the staffs their seem to hesitant and told us that we need to registered, so that they can pick up the plate from our room?not sure why this is required, when our room number was already provided when we walked in to the breakfast room.
