The Island Garden Hotel

The stay was terrible

Horrible experience. We stayed 3 nights and every night we had a member of staff try entering our room or knocking on the door hard almost at midnight. When asked, They claimed to think that the room was empty. There was no hot water. No wash/scrub towels. The bath towels had rust marks. The bed mattress had stains and when we checked in the demanded a USD100 deposit cash in case we did not come back. It was not until after the horrible experience that I understood why the deposit. I would not recommend it to anyone. The Saturday night sevetal locals were having wild pool party. We could not find parking. Ended parking in a dark and abandoned empty lot behind the hotel and waking up at 2am to move our car. The staff were very unprofessional and when asked about the loud music and party, we were told that the bar is sublease and the hotel has no control of the events held.

It was ok for a quick stay

Room was decently clean, no trash can or hot water in the shower.

This hotel is the perfect escape for a solo traveler seeking a vibrant yet peaceful retreat. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding while still enjoying plenty to do. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Lou, Chrissy, and Jess went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making me feel genuinely valued and at home. Their warmth, friendliness, and dedication transformed a great stay into an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and fresh, however, the bathroom had no soap, nor shampoo and limited toilet tissue.
