SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL

Generally perfect

Good location, good breakfast buffet, good onsen. The floors in our rooms (all three) had carpets with stains that should have been cleaned or replaced especially since the hotel is relatively new. We mentioned this to the front desk but got no response to our concerns.

Excellent place, centrally located with good access to Sapporo rail station, Tokyu store and few other attractions. Reasonable pricing and good breakfast service.

All in all pretty good. Some rooms are very small. Otsen and sauna are very nice. Gym is fair, but decent-beyond what most hotels have, some stacks and dumbbells in addition to cardio eq. Staff is a bit aloof but nice.

The breakfast buffet offered a variety of good food and the public bath on the 25 floor offered a nice view of the city.

A short walk from the sapporo station but with luggages could feel challenging. Hotel is nice and clean but feels overcrowded esp during breakfast. Onsen and lounge were great. Room is a little small for 2 adults 2 kids but still manageable for the price.

The hotel looks nice but it was about a 10 minutes walk from the Sapporo train station and further away from restaurants and shops. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The bathroom smelled like sewage when I got into the room and I asked the staff to clean the bathroom, but the male staff that came to check the room looked like I was making it up so I didn't appreciate this. They did add an extra bathroom cleaning since they only cleaned the rooms once during my 4 night stay. Even after the two cleanings, the bathroom still smelled bad and I found that there was a leak coming from the toilet during one of my last days. The hotel should pay closer attention to the cleanliness and this detail. Because of the smelly bathroom and the hotel not offering to switch my room during my entire stay, I would not stay at this hotel again. However, one staff member was exceptional in providing high quality service despite the issues with the bathroom. I want to give praise to Ms. Tamara Mitsuki, she was very responsive and attentive to my issues.

A fantastic base for exploring Sapporo. The hotel is modern, stylish, and conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions and dining spots. The rooms are compact, could use a humidifier but thoughtfully designed, and the rooftop onsen offers a wonderful place to unwind after a day out. The staff were helpful as our child was ill and we needed to find medical services and they made calls to hospitals with English capabilities.
