Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in and around the property premises. Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families. Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property. Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus. Our standard check-in time is 12 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, and may also attract an additional fee at the property's discretion. Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Do not play loud music or cause nuisance, as the place is located in a village area. Please respect neighbors and culture around. We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services. We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in. We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 4 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behavior is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds. By Car:Take the road towards Madikeri, and 12 km before Mysore, take a right towards Honsur Road. Once you reach Kushalnagar, cross Sundikuppa and drive for 7 km. Then take a left towards Sandalwood Estate Road. After 4-5 km, take a left from the dead-end. Finally, you will reach the Kadagadal bus stop (landmark - school). From Kannur Airport: 95 km, 2.5 hrs, ~INR 3500-4500 for a taxi to Madikeri.From Mangalore Airport: 145 km, 3.5 hrs, ~INR 3500 for a taxi to Zostel Coorg (Madikeri).From Bangalore Airport: 300 km, 6 hrs, ~INR 5000-6000 for a taxi to Zostel Coorg (Madikeri). From Kannur/Tellicherry/Mysore railway stations:These stations are 120-130 km away. Take a bus to Madikeri and reach the Kadagadal bus stop as guided above. From Madikeri:Take a bus to Chettli or Siddapura (drop off at Kadagadal bus stop, 2 km before Zostel Coorg (Madikeri). Alternately, a cab costs ~INR 350-450. Landmark: Capitol Village Resort, 3 km from Zostel Coorg (Madikeri) Please note that any changes in tax structure due to government policies will result in revised taxes, which will be applicable to all reservations and will be charged additionally during check out.
