Bluebird Cottage Inn

the cottage itself is nice and the surrounding areas were beautiful. Parking is easy and the cottage isn't too far from town at all

The Bluebird Cottage Inn is a lovely and low key lodging in Idyllwild. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything worked. It's quiet and Idyllwild is a beautiful small mountain town. We would stay here again.

Highly recommend. The bed was extremely comfortable. Usually hotel refrigerators barely keep anything cold. This one was fabulous. Cozy and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in our Bluebird Cottage! Check-in and check-out were super fast and easy, the staff were helpful and friendly, parking was right next to our cottage, and the grounds were immaculate. It was in a great location near lots of little shops and amazing restaurants, and the closest place to stay if you're going to the Idyllwild Renaissance Faire! I am only rating it 4 stars though because our room smelled pretty bad. It almost smelled like pee and light mold and we had to air it out for a long time before we could hang out in there. Im not sure if the previous occupant had a small child or dog with them and they had an accident... Other than that, we would stay there again, just not in that particular cottage.

Needs a upgrade on appliances and better storage

Loved it to death

The room is very clean and parking is easy. There is walkaway path in the area.

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Rooms are VERY dark and there isn't much lighting in the room. Room had an odd smell, so we left the windows open for 2 days. Carpet had pulled threads in a couple of places. Had to get on the twin bed to turn a/c on and off. Never did get the heater to work. Cobwebs in corners. The best part was the owner was quick to respond to letting us know how to work the a/c and when we locked ourselves out.
