Moonstone in Cappadocia

2 gece konakladık oda şaşırtıcı derecede temizdi. Yatak son derece rahattı. Özellikle kahvaltı saatinde yemekleri hazırlayan hanımefendiye emekleri ve güleryüzlülüğü sebebiyle ayriyetten teşekkür ederim. Herkese tavsiyedir.

Breakfast has a lot of varieties and fresh. Staffs were very kind, helpful.

Moonstone is a dream. If you are visiting Cappadocia you must say here. We opted not to stay in a cave hotel because we wanted to have space and not feel claustrophobic and it was the perfect decision. You can walk to the town, walk to pigeon valley, and walk to the hot air balloon tours. The rooms are so beautifully decorated with so much details. The hotel is art in itself. The stones on the outside of this structure were removed from 200-300 year old houses, reprocessed by hand, and then assembled there. There is beautiful art and Turkish tapestry all throughout the hotel. The breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace overlooking mountains and the own or Uchisar. The front desk is ran by Erdem. He is the most responsive, kind man we have met. He made sure to connect us to the best excursions and was beyond accommodating. He alone made the stay feel so special and worth it! The hotub in the room is so clean and sat in front of the windows where you can see Uchisar castle. Staying here is the best decision you can make!

The decor of the rooms was lovely, and rooms were very large and comfortable. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfasts were great. However, there was a lack of attention to details such as the dead bolt on the room door didn’t work, and the bathroom door didn’t shut completely. Also, we found the rooms quite noisy from other visitors talking in the hallways and lobby at night.

It was mostly very good. However, the central heating system was not properly heating the room. We used the AC to heat it up. Other than that, we were happy.
