There was a strong smell we could not pinpoint of what. We slept with the windows and top of half door open.

Clean and spacious room, loved the in room fireplace. Great location, walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants.

It was fun to have a working gas fireplace in our room! We didn’t know if it was safe to leave it on all night, so we shut it off at bedtime.

This place was nice and in a great location within walking distance to downtown, which was definitely the main benefit. That said, the rooms felt a bit dirty and outdated. We found an old T-shirt in the closet and a few toys left in the room that weren’t ours, which made it seem like the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned between guests. The bathroom also had spiders, and overall the property felt more worn than expected. For the price, it didn’t feel like the value matched the cost. It seemed like you’re mostly paying for the location rather than the quality of the stay.

The second guest services man was helpful and changed our room due to terrible noise and musty smell in the first room. He was very helpful. This hotel needs a HUGE remodel however. It is old, dated and the locks on the rooms are very antiquated. The shower/tub in the larger suite was odd and claustrophobic. I’m sorry but I would never stay here again.
