Hyatt Place Rouen

Excellent location, beautifully designed and exceptionally dog friendly.

Very well maintained and cleaned. Wish breakfast was included in the package as initially showed by Expedia.

We had stayed at the hotel only a week earlier and had asked for the same or similar room for the the three of us (two adults and a child). The room we had then was excellent. However on this occasion despite paying a little more it was smaller, had the strangest lighting set up (if you turned on the bathroom lights you it meant a single ceiling light above our child bed came on..ideal when he needed to sleep). When we arrived we had to ask 3 times for the sofa bed to be made up…it was eventually. We were late arriving so decided out of necessity to eat at the hotels resultant. We ere told that they were very busy and would have to wait 45 mins…which we understood and appreciated. However when we went to the restaurant it wasn’t busy as there were a number of empty tables. However what was more annoying was that a number of people turned up and were immediately seated whilst we were eventually seated at a table that hadn’t been completely cleaned from the previous dinners! It was a disappointing stay at a beautiful hotel!

Great location, property and staff. Its a beauriful building. Almost like being in a palace. If visiting in summer the AC might be a suspect but its the case across all hotels in europe i guess. Breakfast was decent. Parking was paid but right under the property.

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff on reception and in the bar. Housekeeping could be better as could breakfast.

Personnel très courtois et professionnel. Chambre très propre.

Lovely stay

In a heatwave Aircon is worth a lot. This hotel is modern and the basic fabric is good. Details however are poor - windows that don't close properly, courtesy trays not topped up for example. Staff are pleasant but lack focus so we had to play hunt the towel in the spa. Staff comment was " Someone must have used them". So, replace them! On checkout there were no staff around so I dumped the key ( I'd paid the bill the day before) only for a waiter to rush over demanding room details.

Great room, well-working air-conditioning, good breakfast

Lovely room and hotel, a long downhill walk to the centre, you have to pay to use the pool. Great breakfast in a stylish setting.
